We often think of stress as being bad for us provided it not chronic or excessive. Stress is actually good because it galvanizes us into getting something done with energy.
Excessive and/or chronic stress is a different story. Our body warns us that something is wrong by trying to catch our attention with nagging headaches, inability to sleep, poor concentration or decreased productivity at work.
If we don’t do anything about chronic stress, we may be leaving ourselves open to unwanted conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes.
