The Importance of a Therapy Contract

Therapy Contract – Terms and Conditions

Before starting therapy with any practitioner, it is recommended that you review their Contract to satisfy yourself that they are professionally competent and that they abide by a Code of Ethics from their Professional  Association.

Since one of the foundation stones of all good relationships is communication, please review the terms and conditions of the Therapy Contract and pay attention to your rights and responsibilities concerning Confidentiality, Ethics, Duration of sessions and length of treatment, Fees, Professional Standards, Record Keeping, Data Protection and Journalling.

Please review the full Therapy Contract here and  confirm your agreement by email to carmel.m.semple@gmail.com once you have reviewed it prior to your appointment being confirmed. 

You may cancel an appointment up to 24 working hours prior to a session.  However, the fee for the session will be forfeit if you cancel less than 24 hours before the appointment, as you would have prevented another client from taking your allocated time.
