Before starting therapy with any practitioner, it is recommended that you review their Therapy Contract to satisfy yourself that they are professionally competent and that they have a Code of Ethics from their Professional Association.
Since one of the foundation stones of all good relationships is communication, a review of the Therapy Contract is important. All questions are answered before both parties (client and therapist) confirm their consent in writing. The Therapy Contract clarifies our rights and responsibilities concerning Confidentiality, Ethics, Duration of sessions and length of treatment, Fees, Professional Standards, Record Keeping, Data Protection and Journalling.
All clients are asked to review and sign the Therapy Contract during their first visit and raise questions to clarify any area of concern. As soon as you book your first session, the Therapy Contract will be sent to you. You may cancel a booking up to 48 working hours prior to a session.
