We often think of stress as being bad for us provided it not chronic or excessive. Stress is actually good because it galvanizes us into getting something done with energy.
Excessive and/or chronic stress are a different story. Our body warns us with nagging headaches, inability to sleep, poor concentration or decreased productivity at work.
If you don’t do anything about chronic stress, you may be leaving yourself open to unwanted conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes.
I always ask clients to check with their doctor first to make sure that there isn’t a physical cause for the symptoms they are experiencing.
